The Best of Napa Valley Food

Wine instead of food may be what you travel to Napa Valley to experience, but there is an abundance of great food in Napa Valley and at every price point. Of course, the valley is home to Thomas Keller’s famous French Laundry and other Michelin-Rated restaurants, but we found four spots worth revisiting that all have a unique vibe with unique eats.

If you want something quick, inexpensive, and tasty, visit The Station in St. Helena. What was once a gas station from what looks like the 1950s is now a restaurant serving great breakfast all day along with good lunch and dinner options such as pizza and sandwiches.

Grab a bite and enjoy the food from one of their picnic tables out back, or grab what you’d like- including a bottle of wine from the store that they have available- for a picnic in a vineyard.

We recommend the breakfast wrap (add avocado!) and the BLT.

We never thought California, specifically Napa Valley, would be able to boast about its barbeque, but we weren’t disappointed with Bounty Hunter’s selections especially when paired with a great beer or wine flight.  Visit them in downtown Napa. We recommend the BBQ bowl and any of the wine or beer flights.

We stayed in an Airbnb in Silverado Resort and found the Mansion Bar and Terrace to have both great service and great bar food.   We recommend the smash burger and the lobster roll.

Bistro Don Giovanni has been a staple in the valley for quite some time. His relatively new restaurant, Scalain downtown Napa was a great spot for dinner.  Where else can you get both oysters and pizza at the same spot?!

The restaurant has a coastal Italian vibe both in its food and decor.  We recommend any of the pastas, and a selection of oysters is a must.
