Greenwood House Reveal: Old Master Suite Made new

Home » Greenwood House Reveal: Old Master Suite Made new

The original Greenwood master bedroom was gracious in space, especially for a home built in the 1960s.  It already had a walk-in closet and a large ensuite bathroom, but the layout of the space was all wrong.  Most of the bathroom space was taken up by countertops that just didn’t make any sense.

So, time for the new master suite reveal!

We reconfigured the bathroom to add a toilet room, double vanity, custom tiled shower and a soaking tub.  Per the rest of the house, hardwoods went down in the bedroom, the wallpaper was removed and walls and trim were painted a consistent, neutral color.

In the bathroom, tile flooring, light fixtures with gold/brass accents went into contrast in an understated way with the chrome plumb fixtures, making sure that things didn’t look overly matchy-matchy.

Here is a full walkthrough of the new master suite reveal!

With two rooms that could function as masters if needed, the house provides versatility to meet unique family needs.
