According to The Kids: Boston

Our According to the Kids series took us next to Boston—a city full of energy, history, and family-friendly fun. After exploring New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, we were excited to see what Massachusetts had in store, and Boston delivered big time.

From running the bases at Fenway to morning jogs along the Charles River, this stop had something for everyone. Here’s what made the top of our list, according to the kids.

Sam’s Pick: Running the Bases at Fenway Park

After the Red Sox game, Sam got the chance to run the bases—and he’s been talking about it ever since. Fenway’s old-school charm, the roar of the crowd, and the chance to stand on the field made it the highlight of his Boston visit.

Paige’s Pick: Same as Sam’s!

Paige also loved running the bases and soaking in the excitement of Fenway Park. She was there for the game-day snacks and the fun, and left feeling like a real athlete.

Andrew’s Pick: Fenway and Tom Brady’s Card Shop

Andrew called this “the best sports day of my life.” After cheering on the Sox, he browsed cards and collectibles in a shop dedicated to all things Tom Brady. It was the perfect pairing for this die-hard fan.

Mom and Dad’s Favorites: Cheers and a Morning Run

We stopped by the original Cheers Bar, a fun nod to pop culture and Boston’s unique vibe. But the real highlight was an early morning run along the Charles River, ending in Beacon Hill. Quiet streets, beautiful homes, and the crisp river air made it one of our favorite ways to start the day.

Final Thoughts
Boston was a home run for our crew—pun very much intended. With ballgames, card shops, classic landmarks, and scenic running paths, we left feeling like we barely scratched the surface. The kids made unforgettable memories, and we soaked in just enough city energy before heading somewhere a little quieter…
