When Steve and Jamie Reeves set out to create their dream home, they knew it would not be quick. In fact, they spent seven years searching for the perfect property. Steve, who grew up in the home building business, was in no rush to build new. He even admits, “I put my wife off for seven years before we built this house.” But once they found the land that felt right, they knew it was time.

In the video interview, you will hear them share about the journey of finding and building their home. Here, let’s take a closer look at the spaces that bring their story to life.

Living Area

Step inside the Reeves home and you are greeted with a light-filled living area that sets the tone for the rest of the house. Large windows frame views of the property they fell in love with, and the open layout creates a sense of connection. It is a space designed for gathering, whether with family, friends, or just the two of them enjoying a quiet evening.

Kitchen

Jamie lights up when talking about the kitchen, and it is easy to see why. This is a space where design meets function. Modern finishes pair with warm touches, creating an environment that works just as well for weekday meals as it does for entertaining. An island anchors the room, inviting conversation while cooking or enjoying a morning cup of coffee.

Main Bedroom and Bath

The Reeves’ main suite feels like a retreat within their home. The bedroom is calm and welcoming, with soft finishes that make it easy to unwind after a long day. The adjoining bath brings a spa-like atmosphere, featuring a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and thoughtful details that turn daily routines into small luxuries.

Home Office

Like many families today, Steve and Jamie wanted a space that balanced work and home life. Their office does exactly that. Filled with natural light and personal touches, it is practical without feeling sterile. It is a room where focus and creativity can coexist.

Outdoor Living and Garden

Beyond the walls of the house, the Reeves property shines in its outdoor spaces. A wide porch provides a comfortable spot for morning coffee or evening sunsets.

The garden is filled with seasonal vegetables and flowers that bring both color and purpose to the yard. Nearby, a small chicken coop adds charm and practicality, offering fresh eggs and a connection to the land they love. The outdoor areas are as much a part of their lifestyle as the home itself.

A House That Feels Like Home

Every detail in the Reeves house tells part of their story, from the years spent searching for land to the neighbors who have become like family to the personal touches throughout each room.

Watching their video interview alongside exploring these spaces, it is clear that this is more than a house. It is the Reeves’ home.
